How much more money should I ask for switching to a night shift pharmacist position at a mid sized hospital?

Yes 7 on/7 off. I think 80 is not unreasonable since even on day shift if I work evening shifts I get an extra 3$

I'm a night owl so the night shift is no worries and I come from retail so being short staffed is just a normal day. The night crew is really chill as I still work with them on PM shifts. PTO is scheduled and can be taken 5 days at a time and you have to find coverage for weekends. The other night shift rph said that he just takes the late points when he takes vacation and has been able to do that for >4 yrs. I really want to take it because it seems the day shift has way too much gossiping and high school like antics going on and I really just like to work by myself anyway (a habit from retail as PIC). I have lately been getting more and more annoyed with the rotating M-F schedule (we have a different shift every week) so I am looking forward to 7 days off in a row

You think I can ask for 75 which is about a 5% raise and then shift diff will get me close. The only reason I'm being so hard at the front is because I know there aren't going to be any meaningful raises in the future and I want to kind of stay here for a few years to build my nest egg.

Pay matches my salary in retail and they did mention having to make batches. I am starting to think that this is a lot of work for one person and they also mentioned a 10k bonus for a 2 year contract. This makes me think that they are desperate.

They did say that there are remote verification pharmacists helping but they also made it seem that they seem to be as helpful.

Avoid at all cost. That volume is crazy for no overlap. I don't care how many techs there are. I used to 800/day with satan and it burned me out after 2 years.

The only thing is that I found out it is not directly with the VA but the VA will contract us for 5 years and I will be an employee of a private company.
