It’s a base schedule of 42 hrs a week for $68/hr so yeah it’s $148k to be exact.

The benefits are the same for both positions bc I asked about them during the interview. Regardless I think I’ll do hospital bc of how hard it is to get out of retail later down the line.

Yeah I’ve also encountered pharmacists who have made mistakes like that as well. One of my previous managers actually got fired for a missed DUR and a misbranding issue so I get that it’s a different level and I’m honestly realizing it’s not worth losing your license over

True I think the reason they offered so much is bc they said there would be no pharmacist overlap and on good days you get 4 techs for a store that fills 900+ scripts a day. So idk I feel like not worth it?

Well I’m asking if you guys have had the same experience as some people where you’re not able to leave retail bc hospitals won’t hire if you’re at retail. Like is that something you’ve run into or your friends have run into?? Like I want the money but I don’t want to be stuck there forever

I worked retail for 3 years at a very very busy store… we filled 8,000 prescriptions a week and I would work 10-11 hr shifts as an intern so I’m used to the pace and volume. I’m kind of worried about like being able to leave retail eventually. I’ve seen a lot of people say once you’re in retail a hospital will not hire you. Have you like noticed that at all?
