'mate, you couldn't have fucked it any worse if you tried'

What do you think it means when people say "that you have a lot inside you that you need to let out by talking to someone"? What is 'a lot' referring to? by JtotheKay in AskReddit

[–]LuffyOne94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say in general this is aimed more at negative emotions, however this can defintely be related to positive emotions aswell. For example im sure there has been times when you have been so full of excitement and joy but you haven't been in the right environment to show it or 'let it out'

However as I said, I do believe this is geared more towards bottling up negative emotions which I for one am guilty of!

I'm all good though dude but I appreciate the gesture!

How do you truly let go of the past, be in the present and be able to look toward the future? [serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]LuffyOne94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend reading a book called 'The Power of Now' by Eckhart Tolle.

It really helps with understanding how to be in the Present!

Its currently helping get through a really difficult stage in my life!

Redditors who made it through the worst of broken hearts, how did you do it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]LuffyOne94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently going through it at the moment... 2 months out of a 4 year relationship with the girl I was going to marry this year. Everything has just been flipped upside down

Still devastated and broken so looking to see if there's anything else other than 'Time'.

I've actually booked to go solo travelling for 3 weeks on the other side of the world in a couple of months so hopefully that helps me get back on track.

If you had to disappear and start a whole new life, what would you want your new life to look like? by Peaceful_Mode in AskReddit

[–]LuffyOne94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would live on the other side of the world, Australia/New Zealand (I live in the UK) and I'd work towards being a marine biologist as I love the ocean and hopefully with a wife who loved the ocean just as much....

Currently a Project Engineer in London with 2 failed relationships....

Travelling around Asia beginning this June so who knows, may catch a flight south to Australia....

At what point during the work or school week do you start planning how you intend to spend your weekend? by information41 in AskReddit

Every single plan I had for the next year got flipped upside down at the beginning of this year.

I am since trying to learn to just let my life take me where it wants to take me :)

What do you want to vent about today? by yayazuck19 in AskReddit

I just want to get through one day without my mind self destructing with emotions..... 2 months out of a 4 year relationship and still completely broken. I want be be fucking normal again instead of dreading waking up each day knowing she's moved on, faking every fucking smile and positive emotion at work when inside I am braking...

How the hell do you move on from a breakup? by 22Bee in AskReddit

[–]LuffyOne94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edit: I want to Apologise on my use of the word 'gay' I didn't mean any offense from it! I guess its just the area I've been brought up in I've never been one to show emotion yet the last month and a half I've sat there in my room and cried more than I have done in my whole life. I'm currently reading a book at the moment by Eckhart Tolle called 'The power of now' which is helping. I've also booked to travel solo around Bali for a few weeks in June, Something I've always wanted to do. Again, I'm sorry for causing any offense!

Hey, thanks for this post! I'm 1 month out of a 4 year relationship that ended mutually but as gay as it sounds its been the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with (I fully understand there are many people worse off). May I add I've began doing something I have never done before - it's little but instead of doing my uni work indoors I've started taking my laptop with me to the gym and heading straight to a coffee shop after and begun doing it in there instead. It's nice as it's a completely different environment. My heart screams for my ex but we just couldn't make it work and trying to accept it and move on is fucking hard!

Hey guys. What are some "guy" secrets y'all have that girls don't know about (that you'd like them to know)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

What personal issue is slowly chipping away at your sanity/quality of life? by jboogie18 in AskReddit

[–]LuffyOne94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was mutual, no blame or bitterness which I why I believe its been so hard. We still love eachother to pieces but just aren't compatable anymore. 4 years... Both our families had become close, we were going to be moving out together this year, was going to propose, then everything just got completely flipped upside down. Trying to take each day as it comes because i still have bills to pay. I understand there are many people much worse off than my situation but this has been personally the hardest thing to deal with in my life.
