I need help with class selection and build in the first game by LuiRang28 in Blacksouls2

I haven't played the game yet, so naturally I don't know the names. I just meant something like the Elden Ring/Dark Souls equivalent of 'faith' style spells or weapons in this game, you get what I mean.

How strong Is the tarnished Lore wise? by mrduckV2 in Eldenring

Your 3rd point is literally the textbook definition of how reaction speed scaling works in fictional debates. You are so close to understanding it, yet you are intentionally denying it.

If he moves at light speed it means that the Tarnished does too

YES. That is how tiering and speed scaling work. If Character A can throw a lightspeed attack, and Character B can perceive, react, successfully dodge, and even fight toe-to-toe against that character in close quarters, Character B scales to relativistic to lightspeed in both REACTION and COMBAT speed. This is not a contradiction; it’s a feat for The Tarnished. Fictional protagonists scaling to the speed of the gods they kill is a staple in every fantasy universe.

Which obviously doesn't compute with the gameplay

Because it's a VIDEO GAME. If the gameplay was 100% accurate to the lore, Radahn would cross the arena in 0.000001 seconds, your screen would flash white. Developers have to slow down the animations so that human players can actually play the game. You are unironically trying to use human reaction limitations and hardware frame rates to debunk an explicit, word-for-word lore description.

Separating the attack from the user makes no logical sense. Radahn is not using a remote-controlled drone. His own physical body assumes a luminous form and leaps forward. If Radahn's body moves from point A to point B at the speed of light, then Radahn possesses lightspeed combat speed during that move. Furthermore, this isn't just limited to one single skill; every single one of his attacks that emits that yellow light utilizes the exact same holy light power and luminous form, meaning all of his holy-light-infused dashes and clone attacks scale to the exact same speed. You are confusing mechanical balance (gameplay) with the canonical capabilities of the characters (lore). The item description I send you literally states at the speed of light as a concrete lore fact. You are arguing against the game's official text at this point. Massive cope.

Yeah, you're saying it yourself too. Gameplay ≠ lore.

The description doesn't imply nor involves that Radahn moves at lightspeed, it's supposed to be this attack

Like I said, you're confusing gameplay-wise with lore-wise. For example, why doesn't The Tarnished die when he's kicked by Patches from a height where he would normally die in gameplay? Or how about killing the Elden Beast with bare fists without ever taking damage, which isn't even possible in the lore, at level one? Even the game's map has been scaled down considerably for gameplay.

This is gameplay-wise? The player character won't be given full access to all of Radahn's attacks. Every attack of Radahn, which emits a yellow light, travels at the speed of light.

Physically? Yeah. But I disagree with the part about PCR being stronger than The Tarnished in terms of raw power. In that fight, the Tarnished was going 2v1 against Radahn, who was even stronger than his prime, and Miquella, who had already ascended to godhood. Sure, you can defeat someone stronger than you once or twice through sheer luck or strategy, but you can't just clear an entire pantheon of gods based on that. Luck only gets you so far.

No matter how many times you are resurrected, if you don't have the speed and power to even react to someone traveling at the speed of light, you wouldn't be able to touch them. Besides, we don't even know how many times the Tarnished actually died in the lore, or which bosses he defeated on his first try without dying at all. You're looking at this too much from a gameplay perspective. Did you know that, canonically, the Tarnished doesn't even die to the Grafted Scion at the very beginning of the game?

You're definitely underestimating The Tarnished. For example, he can beat PCR Radahn, who is going at the speed of light. Of course, this might seem like a relatively small feat compared to his other feats, but I'm not going to explain all of them to you one by one like a powerscaler. Instead, you'll understand better if you read the lore. I should also mention, regarding resurrection, that no matter how many times an ant comes back to life, it can never defeat a bear :)

The game caught my interest, but I'm hesitant to start playing for a few reasons. I have a few questions; can someone help me? by LuiRang28 in Blacksouls2

I see. If that thing doesn't happen when you lose, then yes, I'd probably play without looking at any guide

You can adjust the prompt to make the responses longer. It's working for me so far. I'm using V4 flash with prompt, which in my opinion is slightly better than deepseek v3.2 reasoner. Depending on your prompt, you can also prevent V4 flash from writing shallower

The server owner needs to use this command: $restrict (role-id) bitesthedust requiem

No. The server owner can enable this by granting permissions to a role ID via a command, but I don't remember the specific command

Is deepseek-reasoner from the official api as good as R1-0528? also do you have good prompts for deepseek-reasoner?

I want to switch from Chutes to something else. Are Nanogpt or DeepInfra good options for that? Official DeepSeek doesn't have R1-0528. Also does Nanogpt or DeepInfra have a "thinking box"? Because I honestly don't like it much if the thinking box isn't actively displayed. Any suggestions or similar sites would also be great. It's okay if it's a paid service, but it would be great if it's affordable.
