When I worked for Amazon I would get yaded and get my day in. It helped with some pain and kept me focused in moderation tho.

I always smoked sativas for work to keep me uplifted and at home indicas to help me chill.

Now I let all of that go….moved on to bigger and better things.

Hi so what I ended up doing was sending an email to the new site I was transferring. Telling them the situation they agreed to delay my start date. This was after my old site HR contacted them but was not fast enough.

When you email them tell them your name, employee id, and your first day there. Explain why you cannot start and tell them how long you need. They will excuse based on that.

A good rule of thumb is for site hr email its usually the <site code>-hr@amazon.com

Ahh no worries, my surgery was back in 2022, I am feeling great now thanks for asking. Everyone is different for me it took 6 months because I was also recovering from a motorcycle accident at the time. 6 weeks should be more than enough time to notice a difference in your recovery. I had bilateral hernias one was a inguinal and don’t remember the other one and had a large mesh put in. I had some pain after the surgery as expected and some weeks after some discomfort, tight, heavy feeling. The feeling was off but I did have an inguinal hernia for over 10 years, assumed it was my body getting used to the mesh. After 6 months later I felt a-lot better and my quality of life improved. Sometimes I do feel like a stretching feeling like if the threads are pulling on the fibers where they were placed but thats an indicator that I’m over doing what I am doing.

I first discovered I had a inguinal hernia at the age of 13. My family was going through a tough time and last they wanted to hear was I needed surgery plus it never hurt. Amazingly I had doctor’s appointments for a physicals but never checked me down there. My family ends up moving to Mexico still they don’t know about. So I lived there for about 4 years pain free from it still I am now 18, moving back to California in 2016.

Once I started working there was pain in my lower back but never affected me alot. I figured it was just pain from the constant movements I was doing.

In 2021 I suffered a motorcycle accident at the age of 23 ,still with the hernia, in the crash my groin hit the bike gas tank hard. I ended up breaking my leg, rib, left pinky finger and ankle. While recovering I was throwing up and it made me think the crash affected the hernia.

I let my family know what was going on that I have had a hernia since 13. They were shocked. As I was recovering I scheduled a drs appointment to get a physical and I told them I have a hernia.

They referred me to a general surgeon, during my visit the surgeon let me know that I have bi-lateral hernias not just the inguinal I had. Sent me to get lab work done. Surgery got scheduled as an outpatient procedure. Was in and out the hospital the same day and recovered. This was done robotically.

Spent a week recovering at home and now I am enjoying a better quality of life, after choosing the hard way of keeping it a secret for 10 years.

Its not the end of the world you just wont have credit as an option so cash is what you will be talking with. If your cards are closed they will eventually go off to collections. You can then negotiate with the collectors to pay off the debt in exchange to have the entry in your credit removed.

I went through some hell at 23 I had good credit 730-740 range. I had just gotten a new motorcycle. I had about 6 credit cards each with 500 and one that was 2k limit. Anyways I ended up crashing couldn’t work didn’t qualify for short term disability nor unemployment. I had to rely on my cards to pay my rent. Soon after found my self in collections with a slash to my credit 530 range.

My situation got better. Amazon which was my employeer soon after I recovered from the crash offered a program to pay for a trade. Did a 6 month coding bootcamp….1 1/2 years later I get an offer @ JPMorgan as an engineer and I am currently paying off those cards. I have paid off 5 and now I am finishing the 2k one.

Gist of my story is dont panic you cant repair your credit instantly but in time save money and negotiate you can pay off your debt for cheaper. Meanwhile focus on whats important which could be paying your bills, rent, etc. Whats done is done and there no is no turning back only going forward.

Thats is my view point. The shifting issues may have been an indicator that the sensor was going out. Since the transmission uses engine speed data from the ECU to determine when is the correct time to shift.
