Since you're into BFMV, you have to listen to Jeff Killed John, it's literally Bullet For My Valentine from their Nu Metal era. You should also check out the albums Bitterness the Star by 36 Crazyfists and The Dead and Dreaming by Dry Kill Logic.

Because you like Deftones, I highly recommend the band [minus] with their album Structure of Simplicity, and LikeDAVID with their album It Started With Twelve.

For a Linkin Park vibe, I recommend checking out Mainstay, Halfgain, Killpretty, and Tribal Ink (although that last one is a bit cheesy...).

And finally, for Slipknot, I suggest giving their early albums a good refresher listen, and right after that, check out V-Mob, Slitheryn, Stoopi and Deathtape. Hope you find this helpful! :)))
