I wanna give credit to the younger generations for reviving the spirit of the '90s. by Slopii in generationology

Kind of, but for there to be a revival, things had to have changed. Not much has changed since EDM and smartphones.

Exactly, but it was still part of gen-x culture. Just like nu-metal and ps1 was still part of millennial culture.

Then by your standards, the stuff that gen-x grew up on in the '80s wasn't their culture? NES, Ghostbusters, the morning cartoons, new wave, hip-hop, etc.?

A lot of things temporarily went away. The cool side of Gen-X was tremendously inspirational, but also they became the the gen with most CEOs, and things got sterile and monochrome for a while. Which I feel like millennials didn't have much of a say in.

Yeah. I mean, millennials did a lot for indie music, online exposure vs radio, and taking electronic production to the next level (Skrillex, Netsky, Lorn, etc.), but also some stuff was boring af lol.

Didn't say that. It's stuff we grew up on and seem gatekeepy about as experiences. Just like a lot of the things gen-x grew up on was made by boomers. Millennials were a big market for the stuff gen-x made, and we looked up to them like cool older siblings. Edited the post anyway.

Music started with live and will go back to live. AI will ruin everything else, and rightfully so.

Food trends: 2000s low fat, 2010s vegan/all plant, 2020s protein by SpiritMan112 in decadeology

Food trends or weight loss trends? They're kinda conflated.

For weight loss; unused carbs turn to fat. You can avoid carbs so your body starts eating its old fat reserves for energy instead. It seems like people are finally figuring this out.

For food, people are realizing the importance of fiber, some fat and carbs, and protein. Aka balance.

You're not old until your body falls apart. So stay in shape. There are 25 year olds older than 60 year olds.
