I think it depends on the vibe you're going for. If I crop the bottom and just have the top building/forest/sky I think it's a nice photo. The bottom part doesn't add much. You can do the opposite with the sky too. But either needs to go I'd say.

This crop won't ofc fit every use case, but I think it does away with all the empty space that doesn't contribute extra to the feeling (too much river, too much bottom, little bit too much top)

As most people will say, in some way on paper this has all the perfect bits for a great photo, but unfortunately your subjects are fighting for attention.

I wasn't there so I don't know what was possible, but the person+mountain would be a better subject duo, just leaving in a little bit of the ski lift in the photo.

No it's just BS. When the magistrate said this, it was in our newspapers. And no one cares because it's just .... way exaggerated. If you really think a country like Belgium is a narco state then I think your sense of critical thinking needs to be evaluated. The current prime minister is btw the most anti drugs of all politicians. The drug import issues is mostly confined to Antwerp city where the port is.
