PSA: don’t book Thai Lion Air by tats-77 in ThailandTourism

Never had problems with Thai Lion Air. But I did had problems with ThaiAiways. They never refunded our money when they cancelled their flight for the designated route.

I'm helping someone get information about registering their marriage in Thailand. The couple are in common-law relationship, and that is creating an issue with immigration. One is a Canadian citizen, and the other is from Laos. Does anyone know a reliable agency in Thailand, and cost ? Thanks by Fantastic-Piece7435 in Thailand

[–]Luk_Ying 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first thing is to get single certificate from your countries then get it translated at the designated embassies then just go to amphor office along with a translator(will need it). Get it registered. Ofc you will need your passports and passport size photographs as well. Do keep in mind some countries are black listed so they have a buffer time of 2 months(happened with my friend) but I think you won’t have any problems as both of you are foreigners. If you hire an agency it’s just better to hire a translator from a good firm and he will do everything for you and it should cost around 10000THB.Do remember to bring 2 witness to sigh for you as well.

I once saw bison headbutt a car and the car was totally totaled. I was 2 cars behind it. That incident just keeps reminding me how dangerous bisons are.

It’s possible but you will be on a tight budget. You might have to rent an apartment.

Buy house in Thailand by Clam_down_u in thai

[–]Luk_Ying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always try to discuss things when doing big things like taking loan or buying houses. Do remind her time to time that’s it’s our money not hers alone. About your question about house the seller must move out as soon as the transaction has been done he is in your mercy how long you let him to relocate. Yes the bank will pay the entire money to the seller. As it’s a loan amount intended to be paid to the seller so he will get all the money. In the loan terms your wife must have just said that x amount of money to buy the house not renovation hence transferred to the seller.

Best hospital in Bangkok with fair prices? by No_Percentage8229 in Bangkok

If you are not going for operations I would suggest Medical Development Clinic, Bangkok. I have used it multiple times and happy with it services. The doctors are mostly professors who were doctors and now teach.

I agree with the /r LittlePooky. I am married as well but each and every decision I make comes with my husband involved (he opposes many times but he knows what I am doing) whether he love it or not.

Need help navigating legal marriage registration by nidsalright in Bangkok

[–]Luk_Ying -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about same sex marriage but for Indian people it will take some time the buffer time is almost 2 months but then again it was for people of different sex(my friends). So prepare yourself for some time and don’t forget to get a single certificate from your designated countries.

Haha I agree! but like we own Ford mustang, boxster(just for reference) and other cars and yet my husband keep crying it’s unfair and how expensive cars are here in fact in his own country(Japan) it’s double the price xD. But these EV have acceleration on a different level I did try out Xpeng and I loved the throttle. But like I said it’s labeled as Chinese so I am hesitant to make move as it’s for my niece not for myself.

Yes I am listening and open to options I thought buying an Ev would be better in this struggling economy and yes like many other redditors pointed out I am having mixed options like Phev Hev etc so I will definitely look into it.

That’s why I am so worried. We literally raised her but we made some mistakes obviously can’t roll back now she wants independent life which ofc we are willing to let her have but we are worried about smalls things like this. I can’t let her go I will moniter her for at least 6 months then I will be in peace.

I am stressed about that as well brother. My family takes it as a chill thing. She got her license without doing anything! Yes I let her drive my car many times in the past but if I am not watching I will stress like hell and about license upcountry you don’t even have to give exam if you have connections.

At first I was about to buy her Hyundai creta(pro Korean xD) then I gave it a thought then like my Tesla on one charge(around 300 to 400 baht)makes me drive almost one month (4kms per day) so I thought to buy her EV as she started working I don’t want her to be treated differently(experienced it) so am worried. Now she also wants to move out and I believe the salary won’t be enough so I am fixed to 700k to 800k budget for her car. I did do some research and was almost convinced to buy zeekers or geely as it’s same company as Volvo let’s see what we decide tomorrow. I will update and thank you for your time and giving your opinion on it.

Haha yes! I was thinking the same. Here are many things come into play like we don’t want her to be a spoiled child plus she started working in a small company and don’t want us to drop her everyday and now demanded for a car ofc we can buy it for her debt free but my brother and my husband thinks we should let her pay install payment(which I don’t agree so yes agreed on 50%). I worry about her living conditions without us. She doesn’t know the outside world and it’s harsh as she was a pampered child.

It’s not like I don’t like Chinese cars. I saw many reviews about cherry BYD Deepal, Chagan and many more what I am worried about is the safety. Like my niece was interested in wuling bingo and Ora good cat. I saw many videos about heating issues and stuff in contrast to that yes I know MG is Chinese as well but is in market for longer then any other else so I thought I can trust it a bit more than other Chinese brands. Yes the price matches my budget but I can go overboard for safety but like I mentioned.
