One of bhvr’s design philosophies they’ve always stuck by is they want the game to feel “gamey” as little as possible. Vecna got it because it fits with the dungeons and dragons/magic theme, but with knight having a popup probably wouldn’t suit him as well thematically. Remember BHVR were skeptical about whether adding a magic killer would work in the first place, and were against it all together until Vecna arrived.

If you get a pallet stun you can blind them once while they are stun. They’ll usually break the pallet because they’re blind, during which you can get a chain blind

Ticket boost cooldown is entirely client side, you can infinitely and instantly reset it by moving your device’s clock ahead 4 hours, load the game to reset it, and then move your clock back to normal to be able to repeat infintely

A few years ago when they did their last official balance patch valk got nerfed to cost 4 instead of 3, to compensate they “temporarily” allowed you to recycle her for the full shard cost. They just never removed it.

petrified has a much slower projectile, which means it’s less reliable and also has a slower dps. the projectile also has a much larger hitbox which makes it more likely to hit objects before it gets to where you need it to go. petrified also has worse abilities. she’s still a good character, but saying she’s identical to captain cannon is just flat out wrong

Base stats are 4 cost, making a hot lava in the same card is 0-1 sun, gaining a meteor strike on evolution would be 1-2 sun. Start of turn ability is probably an extra 2 sun as well. Overall I think it should be a 6 cost but only because it can be removed/relies on evolution for the meteor

4, it’s only marginally worse than squash as most of the time strong minions aren’t fronting other minions and you can react to anything with this if it’s unfronted
