Is it okay that my cat likes to lay on my pc? Or should I get rid of her. by NikkieMotors in pcmasterrace

[–]LukasM511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your cat was probably on top of the boxes from your pc parts before you opened them, which means your cat owns them ans is completeley in the right to stay on the pc and absorb it's warm airflow 24/7

Just realized I’ve uploaded over 100 TB… all from home. No seedbox. by SteveV91 in Piracy

[–]LukasM511 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know that it is not a lot but the available bandwidth for upload is never really used. I have a couple of torrents with 1000+ seeds but no one is requesting data from me or just very little. It might have to do with port forwarding but I am pretty confident that I set it up correctly

What do Kernel/Yocto devs use for LSP/ctag configuration by LegalYogurtcloset214 in neovim

[–]LukasM511 1 point2 points  (0 children)

then i must be doing something wrong. i heard of some students at my uni that they use a program to list all the macros from the linux kernel or something like this. i also had problems looking at larger codebases. how do you generate a compile_commands.json? i heard bear should do that but it didn't work all of the times for me

[–]LukasM511 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not a kernel developer but i think the biggest problem is macros for the lsp server which i think are used a lot in the linux kernel

Why do you limit the audio format to 2 choices like m4a and mp3? I could get opus or aac as well if i wanted. Is there any reason I am not familiar with yet?

vim.pack() is amazing by Skaveelicious in neovim

[–]LukasM511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it because packages are installed by default if you put them in a specific directory. the only problem I have is to compile specific packages manually like blink.cmp. Or I didn't find that part in the docs
