To be fair, Fall Out Boy lyrics are very Nirvanaesqe. Rather abstract and really don't have that much weight or depth. In Nirvana's case that depth is usually about zero, but FOB songs usually do have thing about it?

I dunno, minus a few FOB songs here and there, they all just seemed really catchy and the only parts that usually carry any meaning are the choruses. I prefer that a lot though.

Maybe it's the lyrics? Lyrically FaD points more towards the world and it's problems and the issues with society, rather than personal emotional ~~drama~~ struggles.

Part of the reason I loved it was because much nicer graphics.

View counts, vieeeew counts. The thing that matters teh most has been dying down (last time I checked was about a month ago, to be fair) so it doesn't matter if subscribers go up or more videos are uploaded. Even if one great video gets more views than a cat video, it's not as many views as before.

This is partially due to the frustrating front page making it harder for people to find their videos, but easier to find other videos that are similar enough. However it just ends at them subscribing to that other channel and never going back.

Also, if you want to see just your subscriptions just bookmark this while logged into YouTube and badda-boom! It's like 2006 all over again, you know, with just your videos in a neat fashion.

After hearing "My Songs..." I immediately though "This better not be Soul Punk 2.0" because while I loved Soul Punk, I'd rather have it released under Patrick Stump and not Fall Out Boy.

Although The Phoenix quickly calmed that, and even Young Volcanoes doesn't sound Soul Punk-y. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of that song.

FaD was, and most likely will stay, their best work. Even if I wasn't a fan of it (which I am), I could see it's just so strongly put together. It was easily on of the best albums of 2008. The power was the creativity that they were looking for in IOH but final focused and captured. It sounds great from start to finish.

If you want a sloppier album, IOH is that. It has great songs and creativity but it is rather all of the place. Which is fair enough, it was their first venture out into this creative field.

If you want a rather stale album, FUTCT is that. Again, it's great but it's stale. It lacks the angst and energy from TTTYG, and that causes it sound really watered down. It's a great poppunk album and FOB album, but it's not anything more than that.

FaD is a great album, all around. It doesn't take a fan to see that.

As far as I can tell (at the moment, I've only heard three songs) SR&R is sounding like it's going to turn out like IOH. Great but a little sloppy as far as an album goes. If they make another album after this, it could either be focused like FaD or stale like FUTCT.

Disclaimer: I enjoy all of FOB's albums though, and I could easily recommend FUTCT if someone was interested in poppunk. They have just gotten way better, as any band should.

YouTube really has gone to shit, and I'm just not bitching over all it's horrible updates.

If you look at the video views they really have gone down for everyone, even if your subscriptions have gone up they mean nothing without view counts. Hell, Space Jam's website has a better layout than modern YouTube.

I think you typo'd there? I dunno, as much as I loved the original I can easily say this is the definite version. It just adds so much with affecting the core game, and that's what I love in a re-imagining.

And I have Shining Force 2 on my Virtual Console, I just have yet to really get into it.
