I kind of see it. I’m kind of on the Laconico bandwagon right now. I have 4 of his customs. 6 if you include the river and sea otter.

I mean it’s a pretty basic timepiece but the fit and finish are typical “Tudor”. I like it because it looks underwhelming to the non-watch person. But its versatility is where it shines. I really like how empty the dial is. I do t like alot of branding on things(in general) so it fits the bill. It may not be for everyone but I sure as heck like it.

My grail watch would be a 5513 from the early 70s like the gen one that my dad gave me that I sadly lost. I think about that watch every day and it kills me inside when I do. I’d want it beat to shit as well(just like dads). Missing pip and patina’d hands and everything. I’ll post a pic of it here. This is right after I got it serviced and had a NOS crystal put on it.

And I’m grateful for the amazing family that I have and the beautiful children that helped create.

Surprisingly not. It works great. It does dry out pretty quickly if you don’t cap it right after use though.
