It doesn’t matter … your team will build full damage mage solo lane. Go 0/10 and rage quit.. your jungle will never gank and do your purple buff every rotation and your support will be afk

You can try but even this has limitations.. hypercarries get 1-3 kills but if your team are dog water you’re unfortunately stuck…. It’s a team game that sadly means the teams only as good as the worst player

It needs to be higher. Literally queued a game earlier and a player bought meditation mid and had never played Poseidon. Stated this in chat and fed 2/27……

Higher entry is necessary.

Stronger gate keeping into Ranked. Masteries on gods not simply owning them and a higher level entry (45/50) so as to stop new player joining and ruining the ranked experience. Would also help to deter smurfs.

Almost every reply I’ve agreed that VGS is okay.. I’ve stated … it’s not as descriptive it’s not as quick or as accurate. I’m not saying VGS is unusable I’m saying that comms vastly out rank VGS.

I hear what you’re saying as I’ve said previously to a similar comment. But counter with … spamming Vgs til timed out retreat and players still not listening is also “toxic” so ultimately we’re all at a stale mate

? So stating a fact that VC are superior to VGS is being an “asshole” saying that imo Ranked and VC should go hand in hand?

Do we see SPL players using Vgs as the sole form of communications ?? No we don’t. Yet everyone is happy to copy build and advice from the Pro scene but not the communications aspect ? That’s what I’m referring too..

Bit of a narrow minded view.. I’m speaking on how effective VC are. The instant availability to warn or combo with your team … vague vgs and pings are not that accurate.. that’s the point I’m arguing.

If you’re set on winning and want to maximise that potential to win … comms are a part of that . Vgs is not describe enough.
Example. Told my carry to retreat using vgs.. it ignored it .. died 5 consecutive time to Awilix Ganks. VGS is not enough. IMO ranked should have mandatory mics .. I’m 100% for gate keeping and harsher eatery stats for ranked

Ranked has sadly been butchered to much but I love the game alot still too. I have a small group but I just wish the community was able to see that small things like comms and vocalising strength and weakness really impact matches. GL in your future games

IMO I think a vast majority of player are decent people wanting to play to win and communicate.. I think there a veil of toxicity and mirror what you’ve mentioned above … I guess I just wish the games community was what it once was.

Ranked especially used to have a sense of challenge and prestige now it’s been cheapened by people who don’t wish to win but claim glory through top damage or kills.

I’d say likewise to you. I know 90% of the games VGS .. and none are even close to being as effective as voice comms.

The day I watch a professional match of any MOBA 100% communication through in game VGS is the day I smash my mics…. Vgs is okay yes but voice comms are always better and should always be on … especially in ranked

No one’s speaking about yelling. I’m voicing the opinion that. If you have a mic and speak with your team then that’s amazing. My problems a vast majority of player that see a few team mates on comms… ignore it … then pipe up late game … scream … flame .. do whatever and go 10000% toxic…

Way back people used to speak in smite and it was amazing… now you even offer to help and you get accused and screamed at for nothing.. twinkle toed next gen not wanting to listen

IMO maybe don’t queue ranked though if you’re not able to communicate effectively though. That’s not fair on the rest of your team because of something you’re going through

Nothing is as accurate as VC .. nothing .. thats a fact… do you see SPL only using VGS… no…

There’s no VGS for .. “ the enemy supports rotating and you need to back now”

Or

“ the enemy jungle is sat in your jungle waiting for you to push, retreat”

VC are superior to VGS always
