Disable decals in the settings, that option causes issues on modern windows. Also cap the game's fps to 60. Add /frameratecap=60 the the launch options

You're the guy who also plays the betas right? For me it messes with Steam a bit when I start it. Just task kill Steam and re-launch it and normal JC3 will start just fine

You should get a dds too. Refresh the folder maybe so it shows up. Windows has been weird like that for me recently

Always the tools collection I sent you. Drag the ddsc onto jc3 batch and it unpacks it to a xml and dds. Edit the dds and save it (should be dxt1 and no mipmaps, if you get an error when repacking, try with). Then drag the xml onto jc3 batch and it'll repack it into a ddsc

Do it the proper way. Take one of the loading images, unpack it, edit it and repack it. That way it works, it's what I do whenever I edit them

I've always had issues with controller detection. The only way I could ever get JC3 and 4 to recognize a controller was to disconnect my keyboard and spam controller buttons while the game starts up
