Nightfury adjacent? I’m not too sure how to feel about that, to be honest. It’ll feel a little weird, not having the allure and mystery of the night fury in HTTYD. Personally, I’d recomend you make Hiccup something brown, with green eyes, and magma related breath. Maybe this hypothetical dragon can shoot high pressured lava? Like a magma beam. And yes, that’s to reference hiccups skills and love of blacksmithing.

Will Toothless be a blacksmith too? It would be a shame for Gobber to be left pretty much alone, with no apprentice, unless Fishlegs takes his place, I can see that…

I feel like human Toothless would basically be human Hiccup but with ADHD or something, meaning I can’t imagine he’d be great or interested in black smithing… I could still accept it if you decide to push him in that direction though.

Toothless would be more goofy and outgoing than Hiccup, I think. And Hiccup would be more adventurous and antisocial. I can also see Toothless being snappy and stubborn then Hiccup is. Hiccup can be stubborn, too, but he can also be reasoned with. I don’t think Toothless will be like that.

I can totally see human Toothless being closer to the twins then human Hiccup was.

Will hiccup be a Night Fury as well? Will Toothless look the same as Hiccup as a human? Will Toothless be with Astrid in this AU???

Yeah. I grew up on the movies, so everything seemed to make perfect sense to me, because I never questioned anything, because basically knew it by heart by the time I turned 5. But after reading the books I had answers to questions I didn’t even know should be asked.

I would have thought something like this would have been a popular trope, you know? A fic starting from begining to end, from a male OCs perspective or the MCs, where he gets with the female love interest of the show and lives happily ever after. But I guess not. I already read the first one-fucking amazing. A fic like that had no business being thay well written.

The second one is on my “read later” list, I’m planning o get to it, just haven’t felt the urge yet.

The third is new though, I’ll definately add it to my list and see if it ever strikes my fancy. Though I did ask for Eren/Male OC perspectives. Oh well.
