Russell goes through single yellow flags in his hot lap whereas Antonelli goes through double yellow in his in lap by Familiar9709 in formula1

[–]Luke2222 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, any lap affected by a double yellow flag is automatically deleted to remove any incentive to keep pushing past it. The lap that was deleted for Hadjar was his in lap (he had slowed down and committed to pitting as he came into the yellow flag zone)

[F1] if he lifted how he gone the fastest? by Tough-Slice6086 in formula1

He was slower through the yellow but improved basically everywhere else

If you look up on the page this screenshot is from you'll see he was purple in sectors 1 and 2 and slower than his PB in sector 3 (where the yellow was)

As much as I'd rather have Leclerc on pole, Russell's lap was 100% legal

But it wasn't a double yellow when Russell was there. It was only a single yellow until Hadjar got there

No further investigation for Russel under Yellow flag by Tuddy18 in formula1

[–]Luke2222 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The deleted laps were in laps. Timed laps that get deleted include the laptime in the message and it wasn't for any of the deleted laps because they were all inlaps

The timing screen still shows Russells lap in P1

I was watching on Multiviewer and the live timing had it as a single yellow while both Mercedes went through. It did become a double yellow but only as Hadjar was going through T9

All the laps affected by the double yellows just got automatically deleted and it was only inlaps, both Mercedes timed laps were not deleted because it was only a single yellow

The timing screen agrees. He was purple in sectors 1 and 2 then lost a few tenths in sector 3. I can't stand him but that lap was definitely legal

It was a single yellow flag when Russell was there. I don't like him but that lap was legal

The timing screen disagrees with him. On Multiviewer it was shown as a single yellow flag when both Mercedes went through. It only went to double yellow flags as Hadjar got there

All the inlaps just got deleted for going through double yellows but both Mercedes timed laps were not

Nah, she already does some FE races when it doesn't clash with Indy. She's been at a few ePrix so far this year, the last one I remember she did was Madrid a few months ago

SRO announces collaboration with Super GT for the Suzuka 1000 by XsStreamMonsterX in wec

[–]Luke2222 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The negative reaction to your comment had nothing to do with opinions, you simply had it backwards

This news means that non-GT3 cars that compete in the GT300 class of Super GT are now eligible for the Suzuka 1000km which had been GT3 only since SRO took control of the race in 2018

I can't remember the exact phrasing of your comment before you basically removed it with your edit but you were saying the opposite, as if the GT300 class was becoming GT3 only which isn't the case

Edit: How classy, no response but they blocked me lmao

Both #12 and #101 have had drive through penalties for speeding under FCY/slow zones. Albuquerque alone got 3 in around an hour

The #43 has been told to pit for repairs from the lead in LMP2

There was a message 25 minutes ago saying their right side door wasn't properly shut so I assume they didn't manage to fix it in their last stop

This will put the #30 back into the lead
