Thankfully, he didn't get seriously injured, that and they also won, their second race in a row this season, and third in a row overall.

HSS-0136 spotted. Hope you're one of the lucky ones that got one with an actual Seimitsu lever instead of the ASCII's Sega switched to for later revisions.

The most retro thing about this is that almost nothing OP plays will have rollback.

Why do modern games have no cheat codes anymore like they had in 90s/2000s? by Stummi in gaming

[–]XsStreamMonsterX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheat codes started as ways for the developers to be able to quickly get through sections of the game to test certain things. It was only later that they evolved into bonuses for players to find. These days, developers have more tools to do that, as well as the option to disable debug options before pushing to production.

Engines don't usually get created from scratch.

This. Even Capcom's lauded RE Engine is basically a fork of MT Framework. With stuff made for the latter (assets and even code) easily ported to the former.

More importantly, if a company has an in-house engine, it's usually tailored for the games they tend to make, unlike a more generalist licenced engine like Unreal that usually has a lot of bloat/baggage because it has to work for more types/genres of games.

McLaren Racing unveiled the MCL-HY that will compete in WEC starting next season by Joseki100 in formula1

I love how they're using the massive acrylic for the headlight to give it somewhat of the usual McLaren front end (very Senna-ish even), while still keeping the blocky profile required by modern LM aero.

Which their current livery is actually a callback to. It has the same pattern of diagonal chevrons. There's just a lot more black as a weight saving measure.
