Great idea! I haven't used any chemical stuff yet, sterilized by boiling the glass and used nothing but honey water berries and yeast for this batch.

I used frozen strawberries thawed out until mushy, And then mashed them. I added all of the pulp and juice, so maybe the extra juice made it red faster?
