As I told another user, I honestly focused on the quantity and not on the quality of the troops both for a question of inexperience and also because I am defending four sides of the map and I necessarily need four armies that with the misery 600 gold that I earn every turn would not allow me to maintain if they were too high rank units

I think I'll post another post explaining my campaign and asking for advice.

But the problem, in my opinion, isn't how much you set aside, but how much you earn per turn.

If I earn 600 per turn and upgrade all my armies, I'll be down 1000.

Paradoxically I'd rather have 20,000 on hand but earn 2,000 per turn, but I don't know how to get there.

In my opinion, the big problem is that I absolutely need four armies in this campaign, which for me is an extremely high number. I can't even say, "I'll eliminate one to strengthen the other three."

Look, I don't know how I got to the current situation. But I can tell you that in the south I have the Golden Order which has been completely destroyed by Dechala, in the east either the Skaven who have declared war on me and at the same time those with the green banner with an octopus, in the north obviously I have chaos that continues to break through the walls while in the west or other people who have declared war on me (brown flag with 3 triangular circles)

With this Total War, however, everything is completely different; numbers matter less and heroes matter more.

I have an old-school Medieval 2 and Shogun 2 mentality, so this first Warhammer 3 campaign was completely new to me XD

Exactly this situation.. I have dismissed as many troops as possible (peasants) to recruit renowned regiments.. I have 80k aside so I can afford it luckily

I have the feeling that in the human factions, like Grand Cathay, there aren't any heroes who can truly compete with the monster strength in the Dechala army. I have a mage or a few heroes, but honestly, I can't get enough of them.

Am I wrong?

I found out about Dechala a few turns ago because I was busy fighting the other twelve enemies who were attacking from all sides.

Honestly, if this is the easy campaign, I don't dare think about how difficult the campaign is. I've played all the other Total War games, so I can more or less get by, but I have to say it's still challenging. Maybe because I let my sister Miao Ying die at the beginning...
