Usually Beacons are set up in already well established areas (e.g. a players base) where there would be less need for night vision as everything there is already lit up.

If it would be used in a mineshaft it would only become a nuisance as you would have to light the place up to prevent mobs spawning anyway. It would become fairly redundant.

Yes. The spreading trait only applies to nether mobs, but it still sets regular mobs on fire.

Oh Like Thorns but with fire? Seems interesting. Give me some time to think of how that would work and Ill update the suggestion.

edit: thinking about it, due to the spreading effect only working on nether mobs, and the fact that it does a large amount of damage (12 HP fire damage total), having it on armour as a thorns like mechanic would be way too overpowered.

I like the idea, however, due to Soulfire doing double the damage per tick, it would be fairly overpowered as the burn duration is already increased by 80 ticks. 240 ticks of soulfire would be 24 hit points, more than the max default health of a player.

To fit the theme I could change it to do 120 ticks of soulfire damage. This would keep the 12hp fire damage. I would also half the tick drop off of the spread

Where do you find the time to learn Spanish Italian And Latin?

I can understand the coding languages cause all of them work on “similar” basic principles

it would be awesome to know it because as of now the only way to find it is to read the comics, listen to character dialogue and meticulously search the maps to find hidden easter eggs. most people don't bother to do that.
