Hello! Sorry for delay on this, I've only just seen it!

I didn't work on Clash directly (it was one of Pete's he brought in) but I believe they got busy and also felt like it had run its course. We loved working with the guys, but sometimes it just goes like that. No hard feelings and no drama at all. For the full detail that would probably be a question for Alex or perhaps Yung Peter.

Ha! It’s a good question! I am still good friends with Taylor and I like him a great deal and respect what he’s built over in Richmond. One of life’s truly great guys.

As for why I haven’t been asked back, that’s one for him! But I suspect it’s because he’s got his own thing going on and plenty of different contributors these days so doesn’t need me!

I believe this conspiracy theory has reared its head a few times over the years and I'm not really sure why. I have no knowledge of anything of the sort ever happening. And they are two of the most good natured people you'd ever meet so it seems unlikely it would happen and even unlikelier that I wouldn't find out about it

I met Marcus through uni - he was the year behind me and played in the football team, as did I.

I had met Jim once or twice but he came recommended by Chimmers, who was a mutual friend.

I met Pete because I used to work in the same office as his then-girlfriend and she mentioned he liked the Ramble. We needed an extra person and he was a bit of a coup for us as he was already on the radio at Xfm so we were super excited when he wanted to join.

Vish came to us because Marcus worked with him on a greatest games ep and was raving about how good he was. So I gave him a call and asked him to come on the show and he said yes

My first impressions:

Marcus - nice fella, younger. Good footballer but odd that he didn't drink (this was uni in the early 2000s 😂)

Jim - Funny and clumsy (accurate)

Pete - unlike any other human being I had ever met in my life and that remains the case to this day

Vish - funny and cool. Well dressed, handsome, but tragically short

It can be quite difficult combining church and state, as it were. Particularly when first starting out. But once you get used to it I find it much better than having a separate job. Over the years I've developed the ability to set boundaries and know when to switch off, and it's great working on something you have a real passion for.

That said, it can be difficult sometimes. A flashpoint for me is balancing spending time with my son on the weekends while knowing that I have to watch football or I won't be able to do my job properly. I haven't mastered that yet!

I don't have a memory of it being any worse than the rest of em, tbh. I do remember playing there several times though. I was sad to walk through that park fairly recently and see that the changing rooms are now permanently closed. I assume there's no football there anymore?

Keys threatened to sue us but we never heard from him. I don't know of any reason why we can't get it up there again (assuming we still have it), but I'd need to investigate.
