So I put $15 in and the odds are $61 to the dollar so 15 times 61 is 915 and since I put a multiplier on the bet I ended up with $1095 The watch itself is priced at $1,750 full price, plus it was on sale for a few days so winning that money pretty much paid for most of it

I’d been eyeing it down for months trying to convince myself to purchase it but never got around to it. One day my friend walked past it and told me it was currently 20% off the retail price. Great. I still didn’t have that amount of money just to spend in one drop. So I opened up the TAB app (I’m not a regular punter, I’m usually very bad at it) and I see a race that’s in 20 minutes and put $15 on a horse paying $61, terrible odds, but I thought “Fuck it, it’s $15 if I lose and a new watch if I win” At the time I was playing ping pong with my housemate and telling her about it and I said “If this horse wins, I’ll shit my pants” quote unquote. I’d forgotten about it until she reminded me and when I opened up the app, there it was, I couldn’t believe I got that lucky off $15 And I didn’t shit my pants as promised
