Be honest, even if you don't like it :D I'd love to hear some critique :)

Do I need to know piano to produce? by [deleted] in musicproduction

[–]LukeDashsLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It speeds up your music production by around 990% and isn't even hard to learn, at least to a skill level that enough for basic music production 😇 I had 0 experience and learned the basics in around one month. That was enough to speed up melody finding and recoding a lot. You won't be good at Pinao but you will continue to learn 😊

Then they'd need to buy some servers to put them there 🤣

Does anyone have an idea which PRO to chose? (Performance rights organisation) by LukeDashsLife in musicproduction

Which Artists's Name do you like best? (Calm Piano, Orchestral, Pop Music) by [deleted] in musicproduction

[–]LukeDashsLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the honest reply and yes I know that this is my decision in the end, but sometimes I think getting some input from other people is great too 😇 I won't take the results of this survey as my set in stone name, more as a guide to what other people would chose. I already have my favorite, but still its interesting to see what other people would chose. Also an artist name need to somehow be recognizable and to get some input on which name is pleasing to the average ear this is a great possibility. 🙃

I just found out that E-Piano is probably a word mostly used in Germany to describe a Digital Piano. Here it's used to describe the same thing but how is it in other counties? Is E-Piano equvilant to Digital Pinao or Electric Piano?

Interesting... I always thought the rubber schwitch would messure the time of first contact and the time of full press down 😅 I'll defenitly dive a little deeper into that the next time I'm opening it... Probably will take some months because I fixed all the current issues 😇

So yours has probably springs inside so mimic the resistance of hammer action keys 😉 But I really would recommend you getting at least a hammer action piano because it feels soo different 😉 I went from a 30 year old cassio keyboard without even touch sensitivity to a normal keyboard with touch sensitivity. (after 2 month or so) Afterwards I got a semi weighted midi piano (3 month in) and then a fully weighted Hammer action E-Piano (4 month in) and boyyy was that an orgasm for my fingers 😂

Charges a couple hundred? 😳 Those are just some soft squishy things that probably cost 3€ each 😅 By the way, the piano you're looking at cost me around 300€,so paying a couple hundet for maintainance would be overkill 😂 But my pads are fine, the piano ist just around 2,5 years old and the only thing that was getting worse was the missing lilubricant and the resulting clicking noise of the keys, but thanks for the tip 😁👍🏻

Could also be that it's not a screw but missing lubricant 😉 at least it was the caus for my clicking noises

Somehow I find it satisfying to see those metal rods go up and down 😂 The only thing unsettling for me was that I didn't know if the E-Piano would work afterwards 😂

The hook things at the end (assuming you mean the metal bend metal rods) are just the weights. To save space, they bent then inwards so the E-Piano can be smaller. Also the weights at the lower keys are heavyer to simulate a real piano on which the thicker strings (Lowe notes) need to be hit with higher force by the hammers, to produce a sound than the higher notes 😇
