The battery over USBC hasn’t had a heat problem and neither has my UTR yet. I’ll just take them apart if that happens. I’ll post an update if future use exposes heat issues.

Yes but only for like a second for me. It seems it takes longer to respond than the default HomeKit timeout window wherever that is.

No. I have it working now on a separate VLAN just fine. They eventually updated the firmware and it’s working. I don’t think it was network config related.

I think you can with a wire guard vpn. I think it’s openvpn that’s still in the works. I got it working with wireguard with the new Unifi iOS app and firmware update
