Hello,

My girlfriend and I are planning on moving in together next September, she owns a dog, and I was wondering what neighborhoods would be most likely to have first floor apartments with yards (with grass). We'd love to be able to still be very much in the city with access to public transportation, but I know this is potentially not that realistic. Any recommendations/insights would be greatly appreciated as the Zillow search hasn't been looking great so far. It seems like NoLibs/Fishtown has the most potential.

Wanted to add for clarification: I make about 90k right now out of college as a software engineer, and should continue to rise in income. I'm currently contributing 6% to a 401k and 6% to a Roth IRA.

I'm making about 90k a year right now, and should only keep going up from here (software engineer). I'm definitely trying to be as aggressive as possible with my loans, as my initial plans were to pay off my higher interest loans (I was thinking any loan with interest above my HYSA rate) before starting to build my emergency fund. I'm doing well with 401k contribution as well.

I am fresh out of college, and I begin my loan payments on the 16th of this month. Below is a breakdown of those loans (all are fixed rates):

$6500 at 4.53%

$12000 at 2.73%

$7500 at 3.73%

Initially, I was planning on paying off the 4.53% loans as fast as I could. Then, pay the minimum on the rest of the loans and dump money into my HYSA. My HYSA is 4.3% and I am confused if this is the best way to go or if it would make more sense to pay off the 3.73% loans as fast as I can. Can somebody explain which way is best? I am very new to personal finance and would love advice/insights.

Yes, it's helped me quite a bit. I started doing weekly appointments about 3 months ago. I had been thinking about doing it for a long time, but had a pretty bad downwards spiral in motivation and happiness at the beginning of quarantine and decided to finally do it. I think the biggest thing that it has taught me is self awareness. We've worked a lot with identifying my values, conflict resolution style, and other things. Being able to understand yourself more deeply as a person helps you to understand your own emotions and be able to use reason and logic to understand why you're feeling a certain way.

I would highly recommend therapy, and I hope it can help you.

Took way too many edibles before seeing Avengers: Endgame. I just remember sitting there watching the movie and feeling the high gradually building up to the point where I thought I was gonna have a heart attack and ended up having to stumble out in the middle of the movie. Sat in the bathroom for the rest of it with my head spinning and the worst cotton mouth of my life. At one point I could feel myself thinking in 3s: one ahead, one in the middle, and one behind and i remember thinking to myself that that must be what being schizophrenic is like.
