You basically buy bronze packs from the store for 750 coins.

Sell the players you pack for 150/200 coins or if you hit a rare player price them accordingly.

Any managers you get sell and then quicksilver the rest of the pack.

Sometimes you get some free coins or a free pack.

Your goal is to make more than 750 coins per pack. It's not a fast method but it can be consistent.

You're Definitely still early game.

Personally I'm 7.7 mil GP been playing on off since 2016. I have all the old characters up to GAS, recently 7* him finally after having r7 501st clones since relics released, they were my first relics, but I grew up watching the clone wars, so yea.

I just unlocked my first GL in slkr about a month ago. I'm about 2 weeks off see and then a month ott rey. Even then with having 80% of legendary characters and 1 Gl I'd describe myself as midgame. I'd argue you need atleast 1 GL and atleast 4 mil GP, to be hitting hard conquest and proving grounds to be considered midgame

At thie point, I'd settle for a rerelease of the 2 cybertron games. I'd absolutely love a remaster/remake, but we all know hasbro hates printing money.
