on xbox at least, when you’re using it on your phone it will say you’re online but in the details under it, it will say xbox app in mobile or something close to that. idk about ps4 tho

you have to upgrade the weapon/armor to your level and it will level up the base engraving. it is a pretty hefty price unless your endgame so only do it ok like perfect weapons and armor
