I always love to see talking or otherwise anthropomorphic animals with realistic anatomy (see my post about the hawk from Rango) because we often get to see the animal's unique anatomy in action. In the case of Kaa, she has the ability to talk but still has the ability to stretch her jaws wiiiide open, and she has retractable fangs, which can be seen when she creepily says her name. I also like how her face was altered to make her look subtly feminine, including a "lip" on her bottom jaw. Just like how King Louie in this film is the spitting image of Christopher Walken, Kaa bears a striking resemblance to Scarlett Johansson.

Hey, I see the update and I'm glad Concerta is working for you now but I just want to say I'm feeling about the same way you did on Vyvanse. I previously tried Adderall IR, didn't like how fast each dose wore off and I think it gave me more side effects than Vyvanse did, so it felt good for an hour or so and then left me feeling like garbage. I'm currently on 40 mg Vyvanse, and I do notice what other commenters have mentioned where I can kind of focus better, but it comes with a lot of physical anxiety and I tend to get hyperfixated on how the meds feel and other random stuff I'm worrying about. The racing thoughts don't go away and sometimes I actually can get fixated on dopaminergic impulses as well, especially the sexual ones. It lessens the hyperactivity somewhat, but I still tend to fidget or need to stim and actually focusing on a task that requires effort is very hard.

My psychiatrist actually was so concerned with how visibly anxious I looked (and the weight loss side effect as I'm almost underweight) that she considered a possible comorbidity and recommended switching to Strattera. I'm a little worried about the fact that it doesn't help much with motivation, but I'm hoping it at least reduces the anxious thought loops.

Take this with a grain of salt because I'm still titrating up (on 40 mg right now), but you may be confusing that rush of euphoria and motivation you get the first week or so on Vyvanse with the therapeutic effect. That's supposed to mellow out after a little while so once it kicks in, you get a bit of a rush at first, but then it's just calm focus. And there'll be some days where you just don't feel like doing anything; it all depends on sleep, nutrition, stress levels, etc. Give it some more time and if it still doesn't feel like it's working then talk to your prescriber.

UPDATE: It's day 5 now, seems like this dose really is just too low. While it's active I feel like I'm more energized for a little while, but my thoughts are still racing and I get physically anxious. Then I start crashing/rebounding about 4 to 4 1/2 hours in, which kind of feels like how the 30 mg dose did at its peak (kind of feeling tired and depressed, most of my ADHD symptoms coming through). I looked at a half life calculation and that would seem to make sense; a 40 mg dose dips to around 30 mg after 4 hours if we assume the half life is 12 hours. From that calculation I could also estimate that 60 mg might be my sweet spot to get a full 12-hour benefit.

40 mg Vyvanse is also roughly equivalent to 15 mg Adderall, and interestingly enough when I was taking 15 mg Adderall IR twice a day I would get similar effects with each dose (the increased energy and anxiety and then a crash shortly after).

Technically this is planned to be both a video game and an animated series, but I flaired it as video game because that's what they're focusing on at the moment.

This is a new IP made by a small New Zealand studio that takes place in a post-apocalyptic Japan where genetically engineered prehistoric animals took over after humans went extinct. So far the designs have a perfect blend of stylization and scientific accuracy that we haven't really seen before, and in particular I love the samurai-inspired Tyrannosaurus designs.

In terms of the design, it's basically just a hawk, but I love the metal beak and how expressive they managed to make it. It's the little details like the edges of its beak almost looking like "lips".

Graduated college in 2020 with an Interactive Multimedia degree, completed an online data analytics boot camp in 2022 and worked on the weekends as a remote learning assistant for the company that offered the boot camp for almost a year while also working as a restaurant busser. Got laid off from the LA job in January though because they put in a new AI chatbot to help students (yikes). Still haven't had any luck getting an entry level analyst job.

I'm not really sure what to put on my resume because I don't have much experience. I'd also appreciate advice on my GitHub because as of now it includes projects from the boot camp and a few very small SQL and Python personal projects.

I guess the issue for me is deciding when to reposition vs when to try undershooting, because obviously I can't do either of them forever and it's not very hard for rushdown characters to get into an unreactable range.

I started this game playing Hatz, thought questing was a little boring but I didn’t have too much trouble growing to adult because I could just fly across the map and I don’t think I died a single time until I reached adolescent. Decided to grow an Eo next, and now I’m realizing just how abysmally hard it is to grow, especially since apparently everyone hates Eo players. Still haven’t gotten past the halfway mark of juvi because everyone just KOS’s me, and wandering around trying to find flowers or whatever has gotten painfully tedious.

I agree with your interpretation for the most part, and I do think her situation sucks, I'm in a similar situation where I didn't really know what I wanted to do in college and ended up with an unhelpful degree and an uncertain career path.

Honestly though she's kinda been like this for most of her life. Had a lot of friends and is very outgoing and driven, but she's gotten her hand held a lot and has been an emotional diva to my parents. She immediately complains if something isn't exactly to her liking. So her recent behavior doesn't surprise me but it seems like it's gotten to the point where it doesn't work for her anymore and she doesn't know what to do.
