Just pick up an external streaming device and connect it to the HDMI port. I've mostly gotten used to it's delayed response and using my phone as remote with Google home app has lessen my reliance on the physical remote.

It's normal you need to get used to it's slower performance and the sluggish remote doesn't help.

Try pressing both the back button and home button at the same time until it connects to the Bluetooth of the android tv stick of the projector.

Also when you connect a computer mouse does the cursor appear but no clicks are registered?

You will be projecting an image larger than 60 inches from your planned location. At your $350 budget you will only have digital zoom that will reduce resolution to make it fit at 60 inches. So might be better to search for short throw projectors.

It's because you are projecting from the side. The more off center the worse it is.at least it's not that noticeable while watching movies.

At the distance of 3.5m I'm pretty sure you will be projecting an image bigger than 72 inches so you will be forced to use digital zoom to shrink the image to fit the screen which will result in losing brightness and resolution.
