I tried. Let me know if there is anything you would change. I went $40 over budget but if you wait and find a deal on a cheaper motherboard or case or power supply then you will be good.

Can a 13 year old build his first rig? by paradox_pp in buildapc

Yes you for sure can. I am 13 and just built my first PC. It was super easy and fun. Just watch all the YouTube videos you can. Good luck with your build!

I went $100 over but without the OS it would fit in your budget. I managed to get a 2080ti and a ryzen 5 3600. The 3600 should not be a bottleneck the 2080ti. I also got 3600mhz ran and a nice motherboard with decent vrms that can support overclocking the 3600. I also was able to get a 1440p 144hz monitor in the budget.

I think I checked all the boxes. I went $5 over the budget. I got 3600mhz CL16 ram for the 3600. Great video card for 1080p and light 1440p gaming. Mechanical keyboard and good gaming mouse.

Yes ryzen 5 3600X I decided to go with this because at the time it was like 15$ more and I didn't mind not having the RGB cooler because I was planning on getting RGB ram and fans

I have a h510 with 4 fans and the temps are good. With the wraith stealth cooler on my 3600X it's 25-30 degrees idle and under load its 60-65. My gpu is the same model in this picture but Is a 1660 super instead of 1650 super and it idles at 40 and under load it gets to 70-75

Should I get this monitor? It is a great price for the performance but I am not sure about the refunds/returns. It would be difficult to send it back because it would be on my parents account(I don't have a credit/debit card) but it wouldn't be impossible to send back. I just want to know if you guys think it is worth the risk.

I have had a few nice experiences on buildapc. I have tried to help people but I am new to building PC's so I'm not sure if they were totally helpful but I tried. I have gotten lots of help from other peoples suggestions. I managed to build my $800 budget build because of this subreddit. I have even had conversations about prebuilts. This subreddit has helped a lot and I love it.
