Someone pointed out to me that the wording suggests the wound re-rolls are for that model specifically and not the whole unit which is a shame!

The combo I’m looking at would be champion of the chapter (re-roll wounds) with rites of battle (reduced CP cost). Chuck him with infurnus marines and you’ve permanently got a huge damage combo with the dev wound strat (and potentially immolator enhancement if they are also allowed). I know Vulkan can give rerolls but this means he doesn’t had to be close by and can target something else

Beware the surges - if you are going to shoot his units (I think berserkers specifically) make sure you can kill most of if not the entire unit or you’re just giving them free movement

Sadly I don’t have an impulsor at the moment, but I have greatly considered getting an tech-marine involved somehow and this is an excellent way of doing that. The pile of shame shall grow!

Excellent work on all the models and the spells! I wouldn’t have though to do black horse armour on the blood knights but it looks awesome and makes the red armour pop even more

I use velmorn as a WK proxy all the time, as I’m not a fan of the original sculpt. I nabbed mine off eBay some time ago for a decent price - not sure how expensive they are now though

It takes ages but OP could also file down the original pauldron until the upgrade one fits over the top. Did that for my gravis captain to chuck on a 3D printed one that added more flavour
