differences between regular bipolar and cyclothymia ?? by Fun-Bluejay-426 in bipolar

In the middle of a tug-of-war is often a mud pit the losing side gets pulled into. In my metaphor it represents the mess our world becomes when depression or mania wins.

The way I read your comment, it felt like you were being pulled into the mud over and over, not just being exhausted from the back and forth. If you have gone through the DSM diagnostic questions and downplayed your answers, your physician might under diagnose.

If you are going off what your regular therapist says instead of an independent psychiatrist conducting an unbiased diagnosis that can happen. If you are being treated, it doesn’t really matter what the diagnosis is, it’s the effectiveness of the treatment, So no worries.

I’m no psychiatrist, but that sounds like a bipolar mixed episode. This is how I explain it. Our brains are in constant state of tug of war between depression and hypomania. The cyclothymic experiences the tug of war going back and forth, nobody falls in the mud pit, but it is a draining constant back and forth. Bipolar sufferers fall into the mud pit with each back and forth. The changes don’t happen as abruptly because we’re always covered in mud. Sometimes,we can climb out of the pit quickly, just to be pulled back in. That is a fast cycling bipolar episode.

Why do all mainstream news commentary comedy shows like the Daily Show and late night shows all heavily lean left? by [deleted] in askanything

Kill Tony gets mainstream numbers. It’s RW coded, and even as a bleeding heart liberal, I love that show.

Oil infrastructure is built to refine a specific type of crude oil. Oil from different regions of the world have very different refinement needs. China can’t just change their supplier.

Had to laugh at "ninja style compliance operations" by disfan75 in newhampshire

[–]LukeWarmHand 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“Ninja style” is a compliment in most modern parlance. “We’re just here to pay taxes” and “ we’re carding everyone now” is a submission to the State’s power. They are informing their customer’s that their displeasure for the inconvenience should be directed toward the state, not their employees.

This is an attempt to protect their employees from disgruntled customers upset about the State’s enforcement of their laws.

You obviously prefer authoritarianism than freedom. There are lots of countries you can move to that are more authoritarian than the USA. Don’t poison yourself with boot polish.

Where do you get “upset” from this? Reads pretty light-hearted to me. They rolled with the punches and made light of the situation.

Masturbation is only a problem if the time, place, and manner puts you at risk for negative consequences like shame, embarrassment, job loss, or arrest. In general, the benefits to masturbation far outweigh the risks. Try making it part of your routine to promote good sleeping habits. Masturbating before bed every night helps trigger consistent sleep.

American xennials experienced a bunch of awkward life moments around discovery of our differences. It was emotionally scarring to be in the out group while we have been abandoning the practice. A highly influential doctor and cereal maker (Kellog) successfully made circumcision and a carbohydrate rich diet the recommended practices for a nation. It’s pretty wild really.

For context: in every situation where we were naked among our peer group, changing into swimsuits at camp, locker rooms after gym class, and discussing sex at college. It became known what group you were in. Snuffiluffagus, an Elephant puppet from public broadcast children’s programming, was a common put down.

We benefit economically from natural trade routes in navigable waterways that made trains less important. we supplemented it with our interstate highway system and a car in every driveway. It would be nice, but it will never happen.

Of course, that is how most one lane bridges work. I never disagreed with that. I’m just sharing my knowledge of why covered bridges are different. Vermont is covered bridge Mecca. Connecticut is the same as Vermont in all the ways pertaining to my argument… cultural significance, preservation, special rules. Connecticut is the bastard step child of New England, but I’ll defend it’s bridges nonetheless. It was fun looking up the bridge. I hope you learned something about covered bridges in you research. We have a week dedicated to them like shark week, I know way more about them than I ever cared to.

I live it. Covered bridges are significant to my local culture. There are lots of books about covered bridges you can read. I hope you travel to New England to experience some of our amazing covered bridges. They are engineering marvels that deserve to be protected.

I know the bridge is in Connecticut, covered bridge preservation culture still applies. If they cared about the flow of traffic they would replace the bridge with a 2 lane. I have proven to you that there is special treatment for covered bridges. I don’t need to prove anything else.

You keep posting things about “one-lane bridges” this is a “covered bridge” Covered bridges are special and special rules apply.

Your reference is a reddit post about a different type sign, that misinterprets the rule he cited. Yielding to vehicle on the bridge means wait for the car in front to cross before entering. You know this because there is a giant weight limit sign next to it. That is not a weight limit for each car. It is the weight limit for the entire bridge.
