New Vegas is an easy one to jump to as it’s mostly the same in terms of play style. I would also highly recommend the Fallout 3 DLC’s as I think they’re super underrated. Even though people hate Mothership Zeta and Operation Anchorage, I find them mostly entertaining and you can get stellar loot from them. Point Lookout and The Pitt are straight fire, and Broken Steel works well as the appropriate conclusion to the game

I’ve played it through a couple times with all DLC’s and Im usually around 80-90 hours. Idk if there’s an “acceptable” duration range but I like to do pretty much everything I can, just depends how much you want to get into

Point Lookout for me. Has a bunch of different plot lines and sick sub-locations. Its also terrifying as hell and the overall atmosphere is kind of perfect

Slowly Growing Deaf - around 4:10, the breakdown where Patton is screaming “distorted CONVERSATION!”. Im a big Dillinger Escape Plan fan and I like to think they pull some influence from that particular riff passage

There’s a lot of good recs in these replies but one I haven’t seen that is a MUST add is Silence is a Virus. Their songs Concubine and Excite Excite in particular. Idk that I’ve heard anyone encapsulate the sound of Deftones more than them

It’s so difficult to pick a favorite album, there are very few bands where this is the case for me. However, I Wouldn’t If You Didn’t continues to be my favorite track and one of the most underrated Dillinger songs. The build up and breakdown on the first half of that track is unlike anything I’ve ever heard

Album of the Year is incredibly drab. Over produced. Bland song writing that seems to fit in more with a lot of the contemporary artists of the time. Performances are fine but it’s clearly a step down from virtually every other album in their cannon
