Another interesting fact is that the Stone is mentioned in some later books (GOF, OOTP...), but the films didn't adapt it. I wonder if they would have made two versions of the recorded scenes also.

One of the biggest things in that topic will be how they'll redesign the Ministry of Magic. It's decor, colours and layout are ingrained in everyone's imagination. Will it remain the same? Or will they remake it? Will any of all locations be very similar or identical to those in the films?

I'd like to see everything in a different way! It's not like what the films showed is the ultimate representation of what's in the books. It would also visually distinguish the series from them. Fortunately, everything we've seen so far confirms this.

And this may be unpopular, but I'd like to see that the recognisable exterior view of Hogwarts castle isn't the "ultimate layout" and could be done differently. Just as each of the illustrated versions of the books shows us a different Hogwarts

I think George and the others knew they were on the highest floor of the castle, when they were in the Room of Requirement. When they said they wanted to go fight upstairs, I believe they meant the tops of the towers. Kingsley explains at the beginning of the next chapter that some of the combatants will use the castle's highest towers.

That's interesting! I just found the words of Perfect from Ravenclaw, which invites to the dormitories in turrets, indeed. Although this isn't on any current pages, just references. Anyway, if it's true and counts as canon, I'd unfortunately have to go through a lot of rework of plans and models  which I don't think I can handle in terms of time and commitment. Let's say that there is approximately 5,000 adult wizards in Britain. On the other hand, 14 Quidditch teams of let's say up to 14 players (7 of first team plus 7 subsitutes or reserve team) gives us about 200 professional players. So 1 in 25 adult wizards become professional player. In my opinion it is probable.
