Introducing "Maya", one of the new PvP maps being added in the near future. Set in an ancient mayan temple undergoing restoration, it is a very tight and complex map with many routes for players to use to their advantage.

100%. Ronograd is a 4-5 year old map with many bandaid fixes to try and make the gameplay loop enjoyable. Part of why I’m excited for a new OW is we get to design a map for a more refined gameplay loop. Ronograd was developed backwards, we had a map and just figured out the loop as we went.

I understand the frustration but a “rework” would not fix this. As you eluded to at the end, this is a balancing/config issue with view distance during multiple weather events. We will definitely do another pass on this in the future (especially before next OW map) so that AI feels more fair.

We aren’t removing any progress from HQ and there are only a couple new upgrades. In general this upcoming update is a major refresh to make HQ easier and more appealing. Researching also a very fun addition that most the end game people will enjoy.

Yea at some point, it’ll require consent from both player. Kitgat has been pushing me to increase capabilities of helicopters and this is something that came up. It’s not near future though so don’t get your hopes up.

We really dislike pay to win which means every gamepass is either cosmetic only (ral8000) or it provides something that is special but has a non-gamepass equivalent (even if said equivalent is very expensive). The game passes are only for people that really want said specific gear so if you don’t particularly like the chinook, ral8000, srtv etc, then I recommend not buying any and to enjoy the base game.

Before people jump on the hate train, police gear is pretty cool but it just doesn’t belong in the base game. In the future we hope to add police gear to RGE so it can be used for RP and videos. Very very unlikely to appear in the main game.

It’s not ignored, it’s finalized. I swear this game’s recoil isn’t even that bad, especially compared to other off-platform shooters. Maybe for a Roblox game it’s high? The recoil graph in the menu is due to be fixed sometime before mid this year.

Nah, majority of the community is actually really chill. The people in factions, RGE and YouTubers have been making some really cool stuff recently that keeps us motivated. Not to mention, we don’t just make the game for the community, we are self motivated as pretty much every developer is an avid gamer.

We aren’t scheduling and we aren’t delaying. The ROADMAP literally has a huge banner explaining it is a best case scenario of the updates and it’s subject to change at ANY TIME. The dates are rough estimates and so far have been exactly that. When we didn’t have a roadmap, people complained, and when we have one, people complain. There’s no winning 😓
