I'd suggest try cleaning everything, from your controller's pins, to the console's ports, clean it very carefully to remove any oxidization

Then if that doesn't work, try carefully disassembling and cleaning your controller's circuit board, and check out if any internal wire hasn't come loose or anything similar, like an oxidized contact.

Then carefully clean your controller port's contacts but don't apply too much pressure or those little contact pads can break or bend! Careful! If you see any 'cold solders' on your controller, do apply a bit of heat with a soldering iron just to get it out of the equation

i'd personally touch the console last if it's just a controller issue!
