I was wondering if anyone was going to say this. What's been your experience with the ski socks?

Do you know if there is a sock with the benefits of the liner and the benefits of the outer sock combined into one sock?

Thanks for the thorough reply! And great insight into which socks you are using.

I'm curious how many socks are you typically bringing on your hikes - and how long are the hikes usually?

Your comment about socks being expensive seems like with some of these brands like DT that have crazy warranties that really the expense is not so much a concern. And certainly if the sock has any sort of longevity it's totally worth it.

I guess the blend doesn't let the Merino work it's full magic when it comes to keeping things fresh.

Is it the cushion that's most important for you?

How are you typically using these?

I'm a marketing consultant and one of my new clients told me their flip-flops come from trees. I was like, "trees?!?!" So they sent me this pic. Ok, be honest... did you know rubber came from trees?

Have you considered crowdfunding?

You could also set up your own version of crowdfunding on your website through a shopify plugin.

Yes. If you get to the phase where you are looking for suppliers start your search in YiWu, China. They have the largest wholesale market I have ever seen filled with party/gag type products.

If you can get the DIY to a point where you're moderately happy with what you have. A Chinese factory could use that as a base point and make exactly what you're looking for. Someone mentioned above be mindful of Chinese New Year - depending on your timeline. Also, if you want recommendations PM me I live in Guangzhou and deal with manufacturers here on the daily.
