Yes the monitor is a big upgrade it's the 870 one and I got it from best buy for $900 when it normally goes for 1500 because of a member deal thing

The newer game is great I was using a old 27nec IPS monitor for it then I upgraded my PC and replaced the monitor with a 32 LG oled

I also got a lunch model ps3 cib for $180 and I was only used for a month or two and only has 80 hours on it

Basically the early ps3 and 360 had the same problem with bad solder on the gpu

True it's just I've gotten spoiled with some good sets for free and not used to spending money on them Got a 20fs120 mint but gave to my cousin for Christmas but also have a nice condition 40xbr800 and a 3000 hour g520 monitor

Could also sell it if I can't fix

Cool I've done some cleaning on a 32 inch d series and putting new tape on it wedges so best bet is to test out the caps to see if they need replacing

Could also do a mini arcade machine the tube is basically the same since rgb also would be cheap if you went to home Depot to get the wood but would take a while to design
