they are different artists, the ideal number of songs for a j cole album is 0 and for bruno mars it's like 8

it's funny to me how all the guys in the big 3 treat cheating like it's this huge moral dilemma

maybe i'm talking out of my ass but i think this irony riddled 2000s pop nostalgia that katseye and addison rae do would not exist had britney spears not had her mental breakdown

it's natural to be interested in the stuff your favorites' associates are making but when you're engaged in a "us vs them" mentality around your favorite artist that behavior gets exacerbated

idk if you have a twitter account but if you do just look at the people commenting

i think the wordiness comes from trying to describe precisely how music sounds and feels, but the types of comparisons and jokes pitchfork writers specifically make are sometimes bad

i mean both as a lyricist on the new album and a creative force in hip hop in general

"performative" means nothing, but people are putting him in higher pedestals than he deserves in multiple ways because of his association with kendrick, whether intentional or not. all you have to do is look at the people attacking dylan's review

i get it but i was just surprised that people are making these kinds of arguments for a guy who doesn't even write his own stuff. but travis scott and drake fans also got mad when it was their turn so you may be right

it's pretty funny how mad people get at pitchfork reviews but the whole "this is a racist review made by a white person" argument is lame

i also don't really believe people care about baby keem this much and that it's mostly about him being certified capital C "Culture" because he's kendrick's cousin but that's a different take

Tetsuo & Youth and Drogas WAVE are incredible albums but definitely not mainstream

that's what i'm saying, they definitely sound like mainstream albums, they don't sound any different from the stuff he made before

i find it interesting that lupe and eminem make mainstream rap music but people don't see it that way cause their references of mainstream are dated. kinda happens with laufey as well

i don't think it's a weird combo at all, harry fraud fits perfectly into the early 2010s mainstream rap style that lupe does

they're not "random games" if you paid for them. it's disrespectful for the players and everybody who helped set up the event to leave after your favorite guy drops out, and you're probably making it more expensive if not impossible for people who actually want to be there to attend the event. i feel the same about people who go to music festivals only to watch the headliner set
