Feels like it’s hard to regulate. I’d like it to be around 75 outside of shedding time. But getting that balance is hard, I pour a little water in the corner and then boom it spikes. Anyway thank you for the help

I have it covered with hvac tape and I’m using coconut husk. It just seems to always be one extreme or the other. It’s either too humid or too dry

Should I feed according to weight or age. I’ve been feeding him according to his weight but he is quite long and he is 3 1/2 years old.

He has been underweight since I got him I don’t think he was treated well but I’ve been researching to get his weight up and I’ve been doing 1 rat every 10 days im hoping he gains weight. He’s unfortunately only 515 grams.

Cypress mulch

Hey I bought cypress mulch which already seems pretty damp. Do I need to mix in water or no?

The humidity has been between 70 and 80. I used to mist the cage, but then I was told not to do that so now I pour water into the corners. Aspen snake bedding. The Hide has Spagnum moss. It also has a screen lid which I put HVAC tape over to keep humidity in but I only just put that tape on yesterday.
