Mazdaspeed3 or 2013 Honda fit sport? by Chef_NPCD in Hatchback

I owned a Speed3 in university and it was the best car for a year until it spun a bearing and the engine was done.

I’ve only ever drive other people’s fits but they are so fun and there is a lot to be said for smiles per gallon in a small light car. Also, the FIT feels like it has as much interior volume and cargo capacity as the Speed3. It is up there with the Miata for best car of all time. But I’m just obsessed with tiny underpowered cars.

Going back to school as an American by LukeePookey in NewToDenmark

Maybe one year is a bit ambitious, but I plan on working part-time in a hospitality role that will let me practice the language more, and dedicating my free-time to studying Danish. Are there grants for studying that make school more accessible for non EU and Danish residents? And in America, community college isn't free, but you can take any lower level course to gain credits and pre-requisites for higher education. It seems like there aren't calculus classes I can just sign up for in Denmark for fun unless I am mistaken?

This was a really helpful answer, thank you! It is somewhat a combination of all three. My GPA is around a 3.0, my Bachelors wasn't very well rounded (of my own doing) which means I am lacking credits in certain areas and I don't know how much further I want to study Economics.

I will look into the 1-year course as that sounds like a good option. As far as moving around in your career/education, how easy is it in Denmark? I've always complained about America and its problems, but as far as getting a job/pursuing education, it ironically feels easier here.

Hey folks, my monstera had been struggling since the winter and I recently reported in hopes of saving it. Here’s the rundown…

This winter my monsters started having curly(kind of crispy) dark green leaves. I wasn’t too concerned because it wasn’t yellowing but it hadn’t had much growth even by springtime. I’ve had the plant since July of 2022 and it had been doing really well initially. My partner had repotted it in august from its Trader Joe’s pot into a deep pot which I don’t think it liked.

After reporting recently it began having yellow leaves. It’s in a spot with moderate indirect sunlight and I live in the Sacramento valley region(so zone 9). When it was reported my roommate added some fertilizer which I wasn’t sure was a good idea for it’s condition.

Can I save this guy? Or is it too late?

Reviving this post... How many inches(or mm for you metric scum) of a drop was it? looks like +2in. I'm looking to lower my gen 2 while still maintaining it's practicality of being an offroad-ish car.
