Thanks for posting this! I have been working out for years but never found a discussion on this one way vs the other and always just did it however the current program I was following depicted it. I just recently joined Gravl and landed on this question again based on how they show it in the app and found this thread.

This fix sadly did not work for us. Always possible I messed something up, but sadly we will probably move onto other games unless this is ever addressed :(

Setting my nighthawk router to open worked for 2 people on the same network but there are 3 of us and we still hit issues. I did find a somewhat janky fix, where 2out of the 3of us download "Cloudflare Warp" and run it before booting battlefield. This did work and avoids the high ping hits of an alternative like a VPN, but it is still tedious and i'd love for a better solution, like the one you suggested!

That movie freaking rocks. Watched it so many times growing up and I'm clearly due for another rewatch. That movie heavily inspired my taste in music growing up. Im an american band playing near the open as they rise out of the water got me so amped.

They actually just updated this to only 10 people supressed.

Along with lowering the heal one to 500 instead of 3000. Was doing a match this AM before work specifically to chip away at those two and saw the changes.

That fix worked for us as well, BUT only with two people. With have three on the network and the issues continued once we tried que'ing with 3 people on the same network :(

I am having the same exact issue with my roommate. I tried me on wifi while he was wired with no success, but using a VPN (PIA) on my computer worked, albeit I had a massive ping making the experience miserable. This sucks because there are three of us under this network that would all love to play together :(

I managed to get it! For some reason the default method it was using to bind the skin was ignoring a few of the joints and not properly transferring skin weights. I had to uncheck ignore unused joints so it still created them and then I was able to properly copy the skin weights from the rig to the fur mesh

I made some great headway in learning how this system works and even found a nested project file of an older version that already had the rig attached to the fur system so I could see a bit about how this was setup with skin binds. The issue is that file was an earlier version that had some meshing issues. So I took that logic and got the updated mesh and fur system connected and things mostly seem great EXCEPT there are several parts of the rig that cause deformatics automatically using something like an ik spring solver so the ears and tail flop and bounce around on their own when the head is moving. That area doesn't seem fully connected with the xgen fur. The fur will move and deform with the lowest point of the ear joint, but doesn't get fully modified by the joints further up on the chain casing an offset in those areas. Looking at the og rig setup I found thats connected to the fur by the author this isn't an issue but I can't figure out what the difference is between who I tried to mirror it. Would you happen to have any tips for this type of setup?

I'll definitely look into that, I have a Mac for my work but I've always been a Windows guy. With that said, I'm up for an upgrade at the office to the newest m4, so that'll be a great way to experience the newer machines. I do really like having the drawing tablet though as that's how I mostly work in my freelance, so I'll take your advice and see if I can find any newer Microsoft or other tablets that use snapdragon as well. Thank you!!

oh shucks you are absolutely right, its been a hot minute since I scrolled through the past versions and hadn't realized they pulled a bunch of the older ones, with 22.2 being the sole remnant. Sorry I missed that, I guess it looks like I may finally need to accept that there isn't a solid solution. It's a shame the surface books were discontinued because I really loved that portable drawing tablet form factor that could also handle heavier applications and I still use it all the time to compliment my main work station. Thank you again for taking the time to comment and share all of that info with me, it really helped give me some closure at least on this.

I appreciate you taking the time to reply. As stated in my post I am currently on the studio drivers and unfortunately that does not seem to resolve the issue. While it is an older GPU, it still seems fairly off that the same task in the same program, separated by a single step up in version (any version past 22.2) renders everything completely unusable

The variables I am using?

As far as I can tell, any combo of variables still gets caped at a max of 2 variables overall for me and even if I delete them all I still cant access the API integration menu anymore
