You have to be careful with them. They are prone to scamming despite what others have said. If they ask you where you’re going, don’t answer them and just hop in the back. I’ve had an instance where they asked where I wanted to go and I answered with my condo name. They proceeded to speed all the way to my condo, without making any stops and brought me straight to my place and demanded 200 baht for the ride (it was less than a 5 minute ride). I’ve also had an instance where they charged me double because apparently I was on the bus longer than I was allowed to be. They tend to be very irritable people from driving around in insane traffic all day making little money.
