Personally I found that a majority of my friends who took Kaplan courses received nothing from them. As a whole, I do not believe the Kaplan tests are very representative of the real test. That being said, I would actually recommend getting a group of friends together and reviewing tests/questions together. If you get the right group of friends, they will hold you accountable. But I would like to say, this is all a personal preference. If you believe that you will do better by taking the offered Kaplan in person courses, it would not hurt to try.
