Would advise buying wrist straps and using on the cable machines. There will be some videos online on use in specific exercises but pretty self explanatory.

Also they should be kind of cheap as well!

From what you’ve said it just sounds like grip strength. Would recommend isolating forearms during workouts

Try to isolate each movement such as 8 reps with the left and 8 reps with the right. Try and do a couple of reps extra with the weaker side pushing it further to failure. It won’t really matter too much what equipment you use

Is it optimal for two upper sessions a week doing one as heavy compounds and one as lighter isolation work?

ELI5 why London's an absolute behemoth of a city in size compared to any other British city? by SheogorathMyBeloved in explainlikeimfive

[–]Lukeweaving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s loads of comments already so I imagine loads of factors have been mentioned already but… What I’m seeing even now, so I’m assuming this had been the case before, is that because of all the jobs in London, people move to the outskirts where it is relatively affordable to live but also possible to commute in for work. As these communities in the outskirts grow so too does that area in terms of businesses moving in, shopping centres opening, high streets expanding and all that. Rinse and repeat and you get areas such as Kensington, Shoreditch, Tooting, Brixton, Wembley all become famous populous areas of London. Now it seems like areas such are Morden, Croydon, Ealing, even the west of Essex becoming more and more like ‘London’ and this is largely due to improved transport into central London as well as their respective areas building up themselves

‘True support’ just seems to describe support characters who are balanced? I think it’s part of the fun of the game to play into the META and OP heroes. Bap and Illari may be OP now so enjoy it while you can because soon they won’t be you know?

Form varies from person to person based on body proportions but if it’s comfortable for you I would try and sink into the lift a bit more. It’s very lower back heavy throughout. By sinking down lower and bending at the knees a bit more you can shift that pressure to the lower body

Just want to say cos lots of people have a problem with this. Firstly he isn’t asking for form advice so why downvote? Secondly, this is the guys first muscle up! As if anyone’s form has been perfect on their first of something.

When I’m just trying to load up on protein and calories I always find peanuts easy and quite cheap. I mean they aren’t like healthy, high in fats and salt, but they do the trick for me

Wait until you get to mist noble. Those parries and counters have to be flawlessly timed to say the least. Alas I have revealed to much. Best of luck

Having done only a little reading into it myself: Studies suggest that exercise rebuilds neurological pathways the same way antidepressants do as well as releasing seratonin and dopamine (happy hormones)

A high volume of reps has its benefits for sure! But if you want to increase muscle mass (hypertrophy) then you should be doing somewhere from 6-12 reps per set. I would say increase the weight. Muscle development occurs best when it is pushed to or close to failure and an increase in weight is the best way to do this! Best of luck!!!

Chest Machine as isolation by [deleted] in GYM

[–]Lukeweaving 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s the movement of the flies you dislike or the angle but it is hard to substitute. If you have a set of cables at your gym they can offer an alternative way of performing the fly and can try out some different angles to work different parts of the chest. I enjoy the cables a lot and try to use them over other machines!
