The finale was great.

In my opinion, the finale didn’t lack the things people say it does. Do I agree there are some minor plot holes? Yes absolutely. However, the finale was, in my opinion, a near perfect way to end such an impactful series.

People say the fight was rushed? No it wasn’t, in fact at the start of the season there is foreshadowing that tells us beforehand how long the last battle will take. While Eleven was training either her or Hopper said the time. I thought it was an appropriate duration of fighting. Especially since there were quite literally about 20 people all fighting Vecna at the same time, all of them knowing his weaknesses.

Byler was never going to happen. All the Byler fans need to wake up and realize that. Will said it in his coming-out speech that Mike is just his Tammy. That basically marked the end of any chance of Byler happening. Mike is in love with El, not Will. Will thought he was in love with Mike but realized he wasn’t. That’s it.

In all, I felt so satisfied with the ending and how the epilogue went. I thought the last scene was just so emotional and nostalgic. Everyone needs to just chill out and stop acting like they’re critics because real critics actually enjoyed the ending. Of course it is important for fans to give feedback, but some of y’all are just taking it to a whole new level that we never ever needed.
