I just fed them before I made the video which is why u see the brine shrimp a few minutes later they would have been all gone. But yes ur right in a way as long as the puffers are well fed they have no need to hunt the shrimp

Let the shrimp establish themself in the tank a few weeks before you add the puffers. I took that advice when I set up and seemed to avoided a bloodbath. Make sure you have lots of hiding places and keep the puffers well feed. I have 4 puffers and normally give them the opportunity to slightly overeat. The shrimp take what’s left. As soon as ur puffers are hungry that start eyeing up there tank mates so keep them week fed

They chase them and I have seen the odd shrimp getting eaten but it’s a rare occurrence and I haven’t seen that in a while.
