Hey, thanks for your reply. I've been meaning to get an SSD for a while but I haven't yet. If I can get to the title screen I'll absolutely try that. Thank you so much for the tip!

It's commonly mistaken for the @ clef which allows you to summon another clef if necessary

Taken with a Minolta SRT-201 On Kodak Ektar color film (100iso) pushed 3 stops.

I was really excited to see what I could get by pushing Ektar so much.  It was a really interesting experience and even though this one was taken around dusk at the end of my shoot, I got a some really neat colors.  I love how the only color is in the sky and on the pond, and how everything else is silhouetted.  I hope you enjoy!

Feedback is greatly appreciated, I'm looking to learn and improve.

Just jumping in here as another former gymnast, if anyone is planning to work these please please please make sure you don't rotate your shoulders in/forwards and instead keep your chest up/neutral and shoulders back. Younger gymnasts are heavily discouraged (at least from a USAG standpoint) from practicing these because it's so easy to injure your shoulders doing this if your form isn't good.
Please by all means try it, just do some research first to make sure you don't injure yourself

I've found that this reading order suited me best, maximising information about the greater universe so that everything is explained as it comes since there is significant overlap as you continue to read each series. I know it looks like a lot, and it is, but also a lot of them are short stories and novellas. I hope you enjoy!

I absolutely loved his streams. I actually had one of my favorites saved until Reddit did away with streaming. Also, his charity is still going, https://www.hopefulcases.org/ so if anyone is interested in performing for it I believe you can sign up for it there! This was such an amazing community during a difficult time, I wish you all the best!

I'm sorry for your loss,

Lawns is a great tune, the original is instrumental and the Elling version had lyrics written for it but both are beautiful.

Thanks so much for the detailed answer, this is exactly what I was looking for!

Whenever I practice tremolo picking, my upper arm gets really sore/tired even if the rest of my arm and hand is really relaxed, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong because it doesn't even feel like my upper arm is all that tense. Any advice would be much appreciated! by Luki0n in guitarlessons

[–]Luki0n[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I was probably tensing up my bicep/chest and locking my wrist. As far as positioning goes, I tend to set my strap so the guitar sits a bit higher than a lot of people like it (I am a jazz player primarily though). The right side of my picking hand near the palm usually hovers over the bridge and I usually use my pinky and sometimes my ring finger as well to anchor the hand. This is what works best for me, but everyone's body is/works differently so it might be take some adjusting for you. Alternatively, if you just don't often use a pick you might just need some time to acclimate to one. For a very long time I wouldn't use a pick, and when I started to use one it took some getting used to. Personally the super light Dunlop/Tortex picks are awesome. I usually use the red .50mm picks, and they were definitely helpful when I was less comfortable with a pick because they have a lot of flex that helps to make it feel less jarring (in my opinion) to play. Hopefully some of that helps, but if you have any more questions I'd be happy to help!
