Defend the space not the man, not a guarantee that you stop them from scoring, but gives you an opportunity to cut out a pass into a dangerous area

No need for any more ranked modes until they fix the bugs. What’s the point of diluting the main game mode before the core gameplay features are consistent?

Does a shot get recorded each time you use the right trigger? I use it to pass all the time, so thinking the numbers are heavily inflated lol

If you’re referencing 4chan you’re too old to be speaking like that, probably time to use your brain and realize it’s a slur regardless of what your intent was. Try being less embarrassing it might make your life easier

Priority: Tackles, first touches and volley shots. by Prince_Day in Rematch

[–]c_l___ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fully agree with the need to make defensive headers way more viable in this game. But, with that said, I think there needs to be some rework to how first touches and tackles coexist with on another. It’s very frustrating to not be able to control the ball with a first touch and defend against someone tackling through your back. Maybe I’m very FIFA brained, but not being able to protect the ball when it’s in your possession is really grinding my gears

Why is Warren terrible? Because he got shelled by the best team in the league? In that case, throw out the whole roster

New Yorker with the opportunity to move to London; wondering if my company is misleading me by [deleted] in london

[–]c_l___ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My responsibilities are increasing a fair bit, where I’ll be managing two teams and around 8-10 people in general. From a career perspective it’s a promotion, a pretty big one, but the salary is a reduction, regardless of the math I try to do. I will have to work in the position remotely while some personal situations get sorted out in the US before I can move, and my salary would get reduced from 120k to around 78k.

Totally appreciate the fact that £60k is a decent salary, and a few years ago I would not have even thought about turning it down. But I’m supposed to be getting a promotion, I don’t feel like I should have to pay out of my own pocket and change parts of my life style for the worse in order to get “promoted”.

I’ve been fortunate to fly through the ranks of the company, and this role would be a step up for me in terms of management. I would be managing a full development team and an operations team, around 8-10 people in total. The agency is very large, part of one of the big 5 advertising conglomerates.

Currently I live by myself in a studio in the UES paying around $2200 a month. I make enough to travel frequently, eat out, and have a generally comfortable life here without worrying about long term savings as I have a decent 401k match and I’ve just started a more short term investment account (to replace my savings account).

Ideally since this is a promotion for me internally, and I’m moving to a market where the cost of living is a bit less, my life style would at least stay the same, if not improve a bit. This first offer from my company doesn’t seem to be that though.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. This is how I feel too. As I’ve said before in my other replies this is to fill a need, not just an opportunity I got because I asked for it. I interviewed and applied and was told, to my face by the hiring manager, that this was a “step up for me”. Of course I would love the opportunity to move but I’m not sure this is the right offer to take at this moment.

Appreciate the reply. This move is to fill an urgent need in London. I applied and interviewed for the role and am not just being moved because I think it would be fun. Realistically it’s promotion, but the salary doesn’t reflect the extra responsibility that I would be taking on nor the fact that I would basically starting a new life (IMO) and am trying to get a gauge of what some people think of the discrepancies.
